May 23, 201411 yr And now I have to make dinner for 14. Aidan turns 5. HOLY SHIT did that time fly. That's incredible!Little shit requested what he ate in a 5 star restaurant in New Orleans too. Sea Bass with a Lemon sauce, Green beans, and Gratin potatoes. Wanted it exact. Should have seen him beaming when I pulled it off.
May 23, 201411 yr Part of me wishes I wanted kids. You get to do/experience cool shit.THE GREATEST SHIT EVER!I had one of those last night.
May 23, 201411 yr So we played in an early bird softball league where we paid $75 "sponsor fee" and $15 per person. Even though we all work at the same company our company will not pay for intermural sports so we soaked up the cost. This next season is $120 "sponsor fee" and $20 per person. After realizing a local bar has a team we were thinking of approaching our favorite local watering hole to see if they would sponsor our team.I don't know what the best way to pitch it to the owner. We do have a friend of the owner, so that helps. It would be "advertising" (and even better advertising if they provided shirts). I'm trying to think of things that we could offer that would be of value to them.Any ideas?Just ask. If he says no, then say Hey, you pay the $120 and we'll give you $120 BUT give us $120 in bar credit for after our first game. He'll definitely say yes to that.I don't get it. Thats just us paying for it and him giving us bar credit. We don't have to have a real sponsor, we just don't want to fork over $120 on top of $20 per player.
May 23, 201411 yr I'm wanting to show the sponsorship to be more valuable than what he's gives us and maybe get some free team shirts in the process (AKA more exposure for him).

Only difference is you aren't paying a fee, but paying for something you'd drink anyways. I'd personally rather have $120 in free drinks than not. Wasn't saying as a first approach, but a second. First ask for them to just sponsor.

May 23, 201411 yr Holy fuck... I got sexyness today. #154. . real vs clone. The real are engraved, on the right. The switch is totally different and magnetic. The top cap floats on the real, so any atomizer is just a screw on and go. The real trigger travels ~1mm. It hits like a fuckin hammer. Seth have you seen the ones Nick has been making ? Linkage? On facebook. Are you on there? https://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=31207891&fref=ts
May 23, 201411 yr EH? Oh yah!Is that a gif from a real video? New TV series on FX: Fargo. It's pretty good.
May 23, 201411 yr And there is the problem. Modified the daily driver. I am fuxored. It is impossible for me not to modify a car. So I got this PT Cruiser...

So my friends and I... *pause* have a softball team... and we were wondering if you wanted to like sponsor us and shit? Just ask him what he thinks about sponsoring a softball team and getting jerseys made with their bar logo. You would be cheap advertising for them so it's not a one sided deal or anything.

May 23, 201411 yr Did I say BIG?How is the e-brake setup on Wilwoods? Is it the inner drum style on the rear hubs?
May 23, 201411 yr Almost done on the rear suspension on the 65 mustang! Now to order the front suspension and some disc brakes!
May 23, 201411 yr Anyone have an opinion on coil spring insulators? Rubber VS polyurethane. I assume the rubber will wear out quicker, but what about ride quality?
May 23, 201411 yr Anyone have an opinion on coil spring insulators? Rubber VS polyurethane. I assume the rubber will wear out quicker, but what about ride quality?Poly will be a little harsher, but you won't notice. Rubber will be fine for a street car and expect 10-15 years if maintained.

Thanks Ryan! Rubber it is.
May 23, 201411 yr Had planned on rubber throughout the car anyways. The rear springs came with a front rubber bushing pressed in. The rear shackles are poly as would have been impossible to press a bushing into the frame side otherwise. The coils I am ordering had the choice of poly or rubber so I guess I second guessed myself.
May 23, 201411 yr Second leaf spring almost off! Torch made quick work of the most of the removal. Other than the front spring bolt I have the saw...
