September 12, 201411 yr That new AMG GTS tho. Yikes. Purdy. I agree good sir. It's gotz de hot tuboz. And pathetic power output. Don't understand how the S barely does what the NA AMG motors did before. Whole car is a let down IMO.
September 12, 201411 yr That new AMG GTS tho.Yikes. Purdy.I think it is an abomination. They ruined the 968 rear end and the front has sedan written all over it. Even the interior is subpar for a car that is north of $60k. From the pictures I've seen, I agree on the rear. What were they thinking here? So bad, just SO bad. LOVE the interior!

What were you expecting?
September 12, 201411 yr Its also alot smaller than previous AMG motors.Very interesting design, supposed to meet euro 6 emissions standard.
September 12, 201411 yr which cuts cost of ownership way down. I like that its not $250k like the SLS before it. I know they are different but the GT being near $100K will definitely compete in its class
September 12, 201411 yr Mercedes are heavy as hell, except maybe the previous SLS, this one is just over 3,000 pounds. Should help that terrible downgrade in power
September 12, 201411 yr The interior looks gorgeous to me.The back end is meh. The rest is sexy.Sean, you're nuts.As for power, I'm agree that it should have been built with more power. I'm sure it's incredibly under rated and could be unlocked with a tune. It's all about MPG to them however. Can't blame Benz for doing what the US government is basically pushing on all car manufacturers.
September 12, 201411 yr Seth we currently have Fir T 420 and T 640. I have been told that Fir the way to go for our needs.
September 13, 201411 yr Seth we currently have Fir T 420 and T 640. I have been told that Fir the way to go for our needs. Super high resolution. Not sure that Fluke makes a 640X680 res sensor. Kick ass, for sure, but way above my price point . It would take me a decade to make the $16-20K these imagers would cost me. But I do see a lot of Flir love. I'll have to chew on this quite a bit. I was set on the Fluke.
