Should have said chipped then you'd know better than me buying that other piece of shit.

I NEVER put my keys in the same pocket as my phone...but did yesterday. Stupid.

Fell off my inner jacket pocket while reaching to the ground... Put a sticker over it, it's OK

The iPhone 4s is definetly Dozer approved. 3+ years without a broken screen. Not even a chip or crack. I know you guys aren't harder on things than me. If something is going to break, it will break when I'm using it. Tis how I got the name Dozer.

If you had the Iwatch than you wouldn't have to worry about it.

Last month the wife dropped hers and broke the inner screen. Gave me hell because I activated her droid x to use again.

Anyone have a preference of breaker bar head styles? Snap-on%20SN18A%20(breaker%20bar)%20(exp1292007123902PM00190B.w304xh450.jpg7272005110947AM00248B.w304xh450.jpg

I bought a craftsman expecting some day I'd break it, haven't yet. It is a solid handle. Personally the warranty is more important than the overall strength, but obviously I want no garbage.
Is VERY unlikely I will buy new so a warranty is a moot point. I will buy a name brand one though. The head style is about the only real difference when comparing. The outer "c" style head seems more logical but most are designed with the "c" on the handle portion. Now you see my curiosity.
Used craftsman is warrantied...
Good call. I can honestly say I have never exercised a warrantee on any craftsman stuff. Have a pile of broken ratchets I should take in.

What did you end up buying for a socket set?

Jared craftsman tools are fine, unless you are getting into high torque specs, then I would go snap on.

This manly man does not want to get half way into the job and need one to finish. ;)

If we did not have all this snow and mess I could pull one of the old cars out and work in the garage today!

The new HTC is like the S4 was to the S5. Not worth it. Leap year time.

Since I need a new one though.....

HTC has been my jam for a good while.

Dude the only thing you don't try to break via extra use or rough use is your tattoo guns. You are not heavy handed at all there.

Thatt sux no protecter?
Didn't think those things did shit. I've never used one. Wouldn't have helped me today either.

Spend the 20 bucks on an otter box. It will make a huge difference.

Putting on a company meeting the last week of June, would prefer it be someplace in the "central" us that is easy and somewhat cheap to get to.Any ideas? My thoughts so far are:Boulder, COAustin, TXMemphis, TNNew Orleans, LAChicago, IL --> probably 86 this just due to price. Hotels downtown in the summer are awful and we need a meeting room

Where are the offices located that you worry most about distance wise?Do a good chunk of those attending bring the wife and kids since school is out?How many people are you expecting to attend? Each of these dictates a part of my response.J
All men, Boston, LA, Detroit. Distance isn't that big of a deal as getting home on a Thursday night after 5 is the only concern. Easy to fly West. This eliminates the West Coast though. Has to be at least Mt. Time.
I am thinking Reno, Boulder, Memphis, Louisville, and Miami.Reno- Shit to do after meeting, decent night life, hookers for the poor souls who want to spend on some strangeBoulder- also great night life, and smaller cities so the cost should be easy to work withMemphis- BBQ, Blues, and just one hell of a city. Tons of history tooLouisville- why not look into a place that makes some of the best bats used in baseball today?Miami- the beaches, bikinis.....enough saidI can see all these cities working, and being a good place to do a meeting at a good price.J
THanks J.Reno is way too far West.Louisville - baseball isn't a sport so... :PMiami isn't so "Central"Glad to see our lists interweave themselves though

Reno and Miami only made the lists as they are cities where a businessman can have fun relatively easily without the wife getting pissed, and they do cater to a good number of conferences and tour groups.

Louisville only got he nod because the average American thinks baseball is one of the best things since sliced bread.

I would love to reccomend Buffalo, San Antonio, Indianapolis, and St Louis as well. I won't for the following reasons

Buffalo- shitty airport, not a great nightlife unless you are 19-27or want to drive into Canada, or have a thing for casinos.

SA- beautiful city, lots to do, great airport. Shitty to drive around, and confusing as hell even with GPS

Ind- Great city, great airport, not happy with food or hotels I saw while there last, a bit pricey too.

STL- fun city, but kinda dangerous, not my type of place for a business meeting, but they do have a good bit of shit to do.

Aside from location and a good price what else should the city provide?

J

ha funny. Indy is like a small shitty Minneapolis. Nice city but I'd host first :)

Perhaps thats the way to go?

I already have 2+ complete sets of 1/4"-3/8"-1/2" craftsman socket sets. I Own a ton of craftsman tools, everything from torque wrench to magnetic tool trays. Most where gifts that I've had for 15-20yrs.

Was just curious what Sean had bought. I know I suggested craftsman is why I asked.

I will most likely go dig through my dad's pawn stash. (Semi trailer) otherwise there's a bitchin thrift store near by that has piles of tools. Otherwise was pretty much just going to grab a set of craftsman breaker bars on eBay.

I have a huge collection of Craftsman tools from my grandfather and Dad's estates

...some of them are older than me and still in perfect shape

I found a 40 year old nail puller with a piece broken off one end and Sears replaced it

no questions asked . best warranty in the buisiness IMO

Will add my breaker bar got stolen by a friend I lent it to. Could kick him in the teeth.
