Broke out the dutch oven and made Gumbo. Came out pretty good for my first attempt. Other than nailing the rue, was all about adding ingredients in the right order and time.

Only thing I make in a dutch oven is enemies and hard feelings.

Ingredient order is huge, but never be afraid to cook things externally and add when finished. Texture in food is critical and most chef's overlook it wink.png

Pretty sure he couldn't hit a note if his life depended on it.

Also super fantastically awful mixing. Throw an extra 6-10dB on anyone's voice and they'll sound bad, then add being naturally out of tune and holy shit!

I've own, read, and understand (although not fully remember) these:

What I miss is the roadmap. Some is self evident, ie start with idle. The other aspect I miss is how you know you've gone too far and then the forced induction side of things and how it changes AFR goals, timing and such.

Any solid youtube tutorials?

Weird Science is like Ratt, Van Halen, Oingo Boingo

I miss all those 1980's spring break movies.

I miss liking bands like Ratt. Here is 80's gone UBER bad.

Awesome movies and music generation.

And Ryan, on your fuel concern I thought I'd point out one other thing. My car is equipped with a sensor that measures ethanol content and then it maps the AFR to it. Meaning it should auto correct for alcohol if I get some in. Obviously the fuel pump will then be more taxed which may be the only concern you were alluding to, but I wanted to clarify.

I know there are a few people working on bandaids to use an external fuel pump without having the CEL on, but I figure I'll start out safe and when I realize I hit that wall address it.

At that point though it is transmission rebuild and not terribly far off from upgrading the short block. Both steps I want to avoid atm. Would like some tuning experience and understanding of what is good and bad before I slap in a few G's in motor.

Though you would of picked atleast one bad joke out of that post.

Almost made the gumbo in a stainless. Decided on cast and was a good choice. on the other hand I did fuck up and add the cooked proteins in to soon. Next time will add them them on top, like I did the dirty rice.

Unfortunately my W's tastes are disproportionately swayed by texture and sight. Not that presentation and texture aren't high on my list.

Well is seems my daughter loves driving my 4runner now and seems to find any reason to do some running in it.

You have just lost you 4runner bro sad.png

At least I get to rip around in the beetle.

Atleast you know she is safe. smile.png

Good point.

My youngest will be getting moms xterra. I have always kept up on maintenance and have upgraded the shocks and such. So know exactly how you feel.

It doesn't work on an Iphone? WTF, by far the best and easiest way to make playlists. Universal and can be exported to pretty much anything.

My insanity has my music extremely organized by genre. As soon as my carputer is installed I plan to make "master" playlists that I'll rebuild everything else off of. My front end has a "like" button, actually a star, but whatever. Means that I can dynamically make playlists within genre's. Plan is to then just listen and mark as I drive down the road. At any point this can be imported/exported direct to winamp. Then those shortened playlists will be exported to my phone as it obviously cannot store 700+gb of mp3's.

So, depends on what you are after....

And that is my no idea what version of winamp to recommend. Mine is old.
