February 18, 20169 yr I wanted the old SJ Jolidas from years back. The newer JDs and Fusion amps have auto bias, signal processing and other such goodies that color sound in the signal path. Their initial offerings were strong on the "nothing in the signal path" principle. However, with the push for the market to offer fancy gizmos Jolida has followed suit. The end result is, my amp is far more true to sound than the newer amps. It's no Diva Blue Sky (my dream "can really afford it" amp), but it sure is awesome enough for me.

I have never heard anything bad said about them. Tube compliments are readily available on the cheap, too. The red Blue Sky is so sexy. The first time I saw one I fell in love with that chassis design... Perhaps it is why I love the look of the Jolidas.
