My boss owns several businesses. One of them is a scooter shop (who is becoming a Triumph dealership as of Jan 1), and they are downstairs of one of our buildings... the one I work in, in fact. I have gotten to know the mechanics down there pretty well as I help them with electrical diag when they get stuck. One of the guys down there saw my vape and he got all excited about it. He is generally very quiet, and even though I have known him since July I think he has uttered 10 words to me. But we got to talking about it.

He is a huge vape guy. He brought in several of his pens and a home made pipe he has for vaping. He has several that I really liked (one is a $250 pen), but one that he had was really killer. I think I might pick one up. It's threads are much more common than my Halos, so I can play more with tanks, clears, carts, atomizers, and vaporizers. I stopped at a local vape shop today and bought an adapter for my Triton (the big fucker) to play with, but his Joyetech was badass...

It is a variable voltage unit with a digital display. It tells you the voltage, the resistance of the head and recommends a voltage setting based on this measurement, the number of puffs taken, and an estimate of the number of puffs remaining on the charge, and it tracks your usage (which is cool if you want to slow down) and it also has updatable firmware, and you can open the base unit and replace the battery if it goes dead so you don't have to buy an entirely new unit. It is a total fucking badass. At $100 it seems like a steal to me. I may get myself one very soon.

He asked what I vape and I told him I was totally new and was still just vaping tobacco. He brought me in a bag of about 40 different e-juices to try, and an atomizer so I can drip them. So I have a shit tone of flavors to play with, and honestly I am surprised at how much I enjoy the different flavors.

So far I think that Backwoods Brew's Applewood is one of my favorites. I would never have thought that I would enjoy it. My absolute favorite right now is Halo's Voodoo. It has a unique flavor that tends to change. I also like Vapornine's Rad Bull, which tastes exactly like Red Bull.

Bought the Evic here http://www.ebay.com/itm/190999923847

I'll let you know if it's authentic, but at that price I took the chance with their feedback.

I can get the control head ($60), a black drip tip collar and battery tube (12), stock battery (12), and cable (2) for about the same here.

I like the black tube, personally.

Plus I can get the 18350 battery and short tube mod here, for $20

I saw the short tube mod on a forum and really liked the small form factor. With the short tube and a protank it is just a shade longer then a naked e-go twist (ie; Halo triton) battery by itself.

Currently -9 degrees here at the minute.

Of course its 73 degrees (3am) in Kauai at the minute, which is where I will be in less than 48 hours!

Some friends of mine just opened a vape store a few months ago and seem to be killing it.

<-turbo noobhttp://www.shop.trickperformanceproducts.com/Stage-1-Hotpipe-kit-Stage-1-hot-pipes.htmAnd a turbo & tune ought to work no?Thought this might be better that doing all custom. Is that crazy?

That is only the hot side piping. You also need the cold side with an intercooler and all the plumbing. Also have to figure out what turbos you want, fuel system upgrades, oiling system for turbos and other odds and ends fittings and couplers
Intercooler, BOV and Turbo may come from elsewhere. I suppose a kit really makes sense though.
It is far easier ordering a kit.
Talked to Kyle from KB Performance tonight. $4k for a kit. Curious to see what components he is going to include in that.
$4k is pretty cheap for a kit. find out what turbos, wastegates and blow off valves are being used and find out if it comes with larger fuel injectors and turbo oiling system. usually a good kit will run you around $5-$6k.
No engine side anything...but a kit won't help there since I will not run this on a stock short block.

It's currently 22 here, can believe you are complaining about 70, I would love that shit all year round.

Not complaining at all. I'm saying at 5am i am enjoying it being 70. The highs have been in the upper 80's.

So much of me misses the snow, but then I go outside at 5am and its 70 and suddenly i don't miss it so much.J

I like hot or cold better than 70
It's just nice enough for the women to show a little more skin, and yet comfortable enough with the humidity to not be sweating like a whore in church in work clothes. Also means the ac isn't needing to be on in the house much if at all.

J

Dude, you are in Florida. At 65 they wear fur coats. There is no skin at 70 unless you are where visitors from the North are at.

I need to find a xmas gift for my brother. he just finished his business degree so maybe some ridiculous tie rack..? I know nothing about this stuff. any ideas for about 100 bucks?

Get him a custom made shirt. Pre-pay somewhere. Should be able to do it for $100 and it'll be the best dress shirt he's ever owne.d

Last time I was In Florida was 20 degrees. MF was it cold with the humidity.

Got to put a Valentine One in the V. Maybe my wife will get the hint for Christmas so I dont have to order it myself :)

Seemd like something they used in Star Wars.

Now that I quit cig's again I may need a vape pen for my extracts. tongue.png

I got that all figured out if you need any help. I am hitting BHO oils and shatter with great success.

Nice to see you dropped in, have fun and take lots of pictures. :)

Thanks Neal! I am stoked!! I haven't had a vacation in over a year with the wifey being a full time student. Much needed. :)

@ Seth.

I have a pen atm that they sell preloaded BHO cartridges for. I do my own extraction's so just need to find loadable cartridge's.

I do my own extraction as well.

What threads? Or what battery are you using?

I am using the Seego Vhit type C atomizer. https://candyvape.com/SEEGO-VHIT-C-VAPORIZER?search=SEEGO&description=true

They also have a type B that looks more like a traditional tank. But in some cases, depending on your battery, you may need to get an adapter.

I have tried blending and using a standard cart, but I didn't like it as much. My first try was in a mini tank I have.
