I'm up on the air on if I should buy the Focal PS165 components or a 270A alternator. I don't need the alternator at the moment since I'm not hooking up my second amp up until I ordery second 15.

I would personally get the alternator first.  I like the idea of having sufficient electrical going into a project.

I echo the alternator. I regretted it myself and blew 3 18's because of it...

 

To be fair I had 1 before blowing them except it was DOA and was sitting in the back seat waiting for its replacement.

DC power they're the only one i found that has a 270A alternator for 06 Civic EX
