Posted March 4, 201312 yr My Fi BL 15" Sub I got yesterday. The enclosure is almost done, I had taken these pictures at the start of the construction The DC power 270A XP High Output Alternator I ordered today Edited March 4, 201312 yr by NighthawkFG
March 4, 201312 yr Looking good! You must have used more screws in a single row than I used on my entire box lol.
March 4, 201312 yr Author Well I blew my BL 12 box apart and had to shoot nails in it so I figured better safe than sorry.
March 4, 201312 yr Author A few more pics A dry fit of the sub in the box, doesn't it look so cozy in its hole.
March 4, 201312 yr Author 655 shipped they are the only ones who has a a true H.O. alternator for the FG Civic R18 motor, other than having a custom one built.
March 5, 201312 yr Author Well don't like sound of the box looks like I'm going back to the tried and true 32hz.
March 5, 201312 yr Low tuned boxes are my favs Im porting my XCONs to 31-32 hz they play low in a sealed box. wait till. i get them ported and tuned low. they will really play the lows. im pumped.
March 5, 201312 yr Author Yeah I tuned that box at 38 and it just wasn't musical but if I played a sweep or 38 hz tone it's loud as hell, oh well you live you learn.
March 6, 201312 yr Author New enclosure sounds much better and looks great. Know I need to seal off the trunk temporarily so the cabin can pressurize properly. any suggestions of what material would be best to achieve this. Edited March 6, 201312 yr by NighthawkFG
