Working on a little "boom box" for my garage

  • Author

Just picked up an aq3500 today :)

Which version?

Do you have a "PSU" on your boom box or just charge it time to time?

Mite be trading the 3500 for a 2200 and cash, then I can get another 2200

It'll be easier to a pair a second 2200 vs a first gen 3500. I would dig for a seconf 3500 though :) Lots of head room is awesome.

Yea I'm thinking the 2200s at one ohm each will be better than the 3500 at half an ohm

Thinking about getting the ft1 tweeters and adding them to my doors with my pwx's. . Ill probley just trade someone my a-pillars for there stock ones .I don't really like how its sounding that high up...

Has anyone used them?

Edited by frogcase2002

I used them for a while but didn't really care for them or any supertweeter for that matter. A pair of horns underneath the dash would be perfect.

That's what I have wanting but know nothing about them. Are there any kinda cheap ones?

Not as cheap as supertweeters, you may be able to find some used ones on forums. The cheapest Eric Stevens horns are like $299 a pair for the Pro model.

I like using a flexible glue on the dust cap.  Househould goop works good.

More details please.
