I have a 98 s10 ext cab, have not chosen box specifications, or an amp yet. For the amp I'm thinking about getting a 1500 watt audiopipe. For the box I plan to go ported. Which would be louder and with deeper bass 2 12" gcons which are 750 rms or 1 12" icon which is 1250 rms?

If both were in proper enclosures the two gcons would be louder. I would suggest looking for a different amp.

Is $350 for amp and subs?  Also, what does your electrical look like?

You said that your total budget is 750 right? Can you build your own enclosure if we help?

Under 350$ for the amp. That about 1500 watts

Worry less about power and more about the install & enclosure. ;)

I am running 1500 wrms to a 12" SSA zcon and it is loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
