If you have two boxes at the same volume and say one had a 2" slot port width and the other had a 3.5" port width tuned to the same frequency would there be a difference? Would the 3.5" port allow you to feel the lows better than the 2" port but sound the same since they are tuned the same?

Err, maybe.

 

What you stated was an absolute.  No such thing.  You need to share ALL of the other variables before drawing a conclusion.

I'm just curious to if having a wider port but same tuning, power, sub, box volume, car is if there its a difference or if the wider port would play the low notes any stronger? More air movement?

Width doesn't matter*.  Area will depending.

Then spend more time on a question so it is answerable.

You've asked something akin to what is better Ford or Chevy. Obviously rather dependent on a ton of things.
