What I've been up to: I got a good deal on a Zv.4 motor a few months ago, I got inspired to do a single 10" SPL build for fun. Recone consists of D1 NSV2 coil, 2 layer SPL spiders, SPL surround & carbon cap! All from Sundown.

Please excuse the excess glue on the cone & surround, the carbon cap didn't feel secure enough for me! Gonna start on boxes in a few!

Finally got time to have fun! Box is 1.3c/f tuned to 50hz with a full length 6" PSP port.

Did a 147.7 @56hz outlaw, 144.5 @53hz sealed up.

Thanks! Was over looking my wires and realized 2 runs out of the 3 of 1/0 is CCA! So new OFC wire will be ordered today. (just prepping for more power)

Ended up buying 25ft of 2/0 Skyhigh vs. 50ft of 1/0!

After rewire and tune up starting voltage is @14.4 from 14.2, rpm warm idle is down to 750 from 900rpm!

What did you change?

Changed all wire to OFC, replace all connections with SHCA copper lugs scraped or increased the size of the paint surface for connections to frame! Went with NGK plugs, MSD wires and changes oil to Royal Purple full synthetic.

Hit up a show yesterday! Put in the old Tantrics back in for good measure ended up doing a 151.6 @56hz before the dust cap launched. No time for a retry.

Forgot to add that I replaced the under hood fuse box to battery wire to 4 gauge ofc.
