Has anybody used these? Interesting specs - XBL^2 motor design, copper coil, 3 shorting rings in the motor, high xmax. You can pick two of these up for $519 plus shipping(?).

For car audio use they look like they ought to be good SQ subwoofers with good low end extension in the right enclosure.

I think they look fantastic and have given them a lot of thought, but just don't fit my needs at this time. I forget the specs now but IIRC they work in decent sized enclosures.

They were supposed to be coming out with a pretty stout 15" version that had my interest as well, but last update I saw they were having supplier issues.

I thought they had the 15" but discontinued it.

My front stage is going to be, by shear coincidence, all CSS.

Their tweeters and mids look fantastic. I would have a machine shop trim the mounting flange on those mids though.

BTW holy shit the 15" would be insane.

I thought they looked like oversized baskets like the TB W4's I had.

damn that's a beefy ass sumbish

I loved my ert26 tweeters and wanted to buy another pair until I seen they were discontinued. I was looking at the 15" a while back as well.

Brad what drivers will you be using for your front stage?
