November 20, 201311 yr Author What are you guys thoughts on the new box? 147 so far on the dash. But really, the only major difference is the space savings. I can now tune for burps as well.
November 20, 201311 yr I like the box... where you at tuning wise? I think I missed that part.... What are you guys thoughts on the new box? 147 so far on the dash. But really, the only major difference is the space savings. I can now tune for burps as well.
November 20, 201311 yr Author Swift, I put a space bar on the second comment between watch in the url and the rest of the url. Should be able to delete that space and click the link. I have no idea what the tuning is haha.
November 20, 201311 yr If you copy and paste the address. And replace the "." Before com with "(dot)" mobile users will be able to view and click the link. For example. www.youtube(dot)com
November 20, 201311 yr You probably should have asked what tuning was on the enclosure. It looks pretty good from the video, but it would be great to hear in person. How dynamic is it? From the sound of it I would think its pretty peaky?

November 20, 201311 yr Nice port Can't remember if yours is built for PVC pipe. If it is, how hard was it to find carboard tube for it? Now tune higher and get close to 150 on the dash
November 20, 201311 yr Author Thanks guys. There is definitely a possibility to get that 50. I'm using the tube for just testing really as 40ch pvc in 10" is rather expensive.
November 21, 201311 yr Author I gotta figure out what else I can feed it! For those wondering, it's doing about 147.x on the dash now.
November 22, 201311 yr Author Any opinions on the aero port vs standard square port? That's what I've been looking for myself. The biggest advantage I've noticed here, is that I pretty much get the same output, but I've saved LOTS of space. haha. I would say depending on cost for the flare that you would get, would determine wether or not to go this route. The 2 major points that would be a deciding factor when chosing what type of port to utilize would be:A) Is this a burp boxB) Are there space restraints Aero ports in the SPL environment seem to be dominant, and as stated before, I've saved space. To answer your initial question, I mean, to the hear, no sound difference, at least immediately. As I continue to refresh through my library of music, then maybe I can have a more firm response.
