Been wanting a new daily- and here it is!  Been gathering for a systen in the Burb- but started thinking that if I bought an Avalanche- i could do the 15's in the bed...still have room for 5(4 boys)...and drive it daily.  Then being that I have bought Crescendo amps(and generally like orange), I set out to find a orange Av...and I did.

It was at a dealer 30 miles away, so my eldest son and I went Monday evening to drive it.  Just to see if they would fit my bill for a daily.  I loved it.  But, my credit was destroys from my divorce last year, I didn't think I could finance one- but they took my info anyway.  Then lunchtime Tuesday, I got a call to come on down.  My interest rate sux(expected) but the payments are not bad at all.(I did put a whollop of a down payment)  Plus it'll put me building my credit again.

Spec:

2007 Chevey Avalanche

125K miles (it drives like new though)

5.3  -  I think, haven't even looked

Automatic

LT2 -  Leather, Wood, Console, power everything.  Basically everything BUT sunroof and 20"wheels.

System plans-

2 15" DSS Ethos

Crescendo BC3500 and C1100.4

Singer 250 or 270 amp Alt

H/U and Mids yet to be determined.

Will take some more pics later today and post up.

Sweet, I have been eyeing them myself lately.

Awesome!! My dad has a brand new avalanche and it's so nice

So far I love it.  The interior is far nicer than anything I have owned before.  Plus I am a LARGE guy- 6'1" 400 lbs.  My lil Zuki was a tad tight.LOL.

I forgot my other plans for it.

Needs a new Windshied- it is cracked.(The sales lady advertised it for 2 grand less than the dealer wanted...so they had to honor it.  But would only sell it to me as is)

Front inner fender is damaged- but the replacement part is in the bed.

Then-

Tint the windows

Drop it at least 3" in front, and do a self leveling air ride out back.

Probably run 22's with some 285/45's.

Probably do the chrome grille and tailgat handle cover

Maybe smooth and paint the rear plastics

Damnit, I was expecting an AA Avalanche. Great truck, though. Fun for sound.

Nice ride. I love those trucks. Since Chevy stepped up the interior of the Silverados, I like it better.

nice
