Posted May 6, 200619 yr Hi guys. I'm getting ready to install a 12" RL-P in my Denali. I have a directed 1100d, the sub is 2 ohms. I will be running it at 1 ohm, so I guess about 1100w rms give or take. Anyway, what's the ideal box size for a sealed enclosure for 1 12" . Space isn't a huge issue, however I would like to keep the cargo area of the suv useful. Thanks,Austin
May 6, 200619 yr If you want the most cargo area just make it really tall and wide. And make it a wedge since the back seats are sort of at an angle
May 7, 200619 yr I was going to do 1 Entasi audio 12 ( close to a RL-p) in my burb'But it was to small, time for something different
May 8, 200619 yr Admin Thanks guys for your replies. I appreciate it.also talk to M5 on here, I believe he has an sealed RL-p
May 10, 200619 yr I have a set of sealed RL-p 12"s in my single cab silverado. I built my box on the large side. I went for 1.5 cubes per driver net. Mike informed me that I would sacrafice some SQ with a box that large, but IMHO If I lost any SQ I cant tell. I did enjoy the added output I got with the larger box also. But really you cant go wrong with these subs in a box about 1.25 cubes, great mix of SQ and great output from a sealed enclosure.
