Not huge progress but got the Van over to the house, got all seats out, Big 3 is done, I drilled out a hole in the floor large enough to do 4-6 runs to the back down the road. For now there is two runs of 2/0 going to the back battery bank. This afternoon I will start on putting in the head unit, running RCA's and maybe speaker wire to the front. May go ahead and look at door panel options aswell. I have a few ideas but unsure what to run. Probably 2 10's per door and one super tweeter per door. Since this is mainly a SPL and demo vehicle for shows I'm not too concerned with quality mids and highs. I need loud and clear. I also need to think about amp and battery placement. This will be a push to get completed this week

Here is the victim, she will clean up good though. Atleast its not a Ugly van, LOL

Any suspension upgrades in the future?

I wana hear it either way!

Nice start, everything looks good.

Truck! Do the Truck!

The truck can get just as loud as the van. Obviously the van has more space, but we all know, more space equals more _____

We all have budgets, I would rather have him have a true daily system, and to look nice, more than a show day vehicle only. I would like to see a showing of the truck for the year, then, as time allows for next season, go all out for the numbers with the van.

I added a little extra unicorn milk to the 18's so it should wang pretty damn good

Well, the frame on the van is a unibody frame type setup and it sucks asshole. I will need a to have a long ground bar welded to it if I want a good mounting location. The truck on the other hand has a thick ass nice frame I can bolt to easily. I am also now having the mental issue that I will have a good bit of coin in this build and can only hear it when going to shows cause the fucking suspension surely wont hold the weight and the fuckin trans may take a shit when it tries to pull it all so no cruising around in this bish.

I am about ready to move back to the truck because its built to handle the weight and just take my time and figure it out. My business is so slammed right now I cant be stressed over this fuckin show this weekend. Sorry the build log is so fucked. Not gonna do any work tonight and think it all over good. Money is not a problem at all, just cant make a solid decision.............

Got the interior pulled, cut some metal, drilled some holes, got the false floor built, tomorrow i should get a lot done as well. Should be playing by the weekend. Not the doors though, I have the sundown comps up front I will leave just to get through the first show.

Wow that amp is a beast. Can't wait to see what you have in store for the truck.

Thank you good sir.... thanx.gif

Swift, you really got this thing going fast. It really kills the lows and shows the Ethos potential. That Ampere amp was legit as hell too.

Yeah I wont post too much about it until I get it finished up. The truck is taken far more of a beating with these 4 than the 3 SP4's but its not showing on the meter, atleast not at the freq I guessed at when I did my run although it was enough to take 1st place in Mod3 yesterday. That will give me the 3X points I need. I have zero deadner in the truck and havent even started to seal anything and do any tuning.

Listening to it at maybe 1/2 volume (35 or so on the headunit) it seems to maybe peak in the lower 30's. Once its sealed off I would expect that to be accurate at higher volumes as well. Maybe later this week when I get more done we can get your meter over here and do some testing. The whole truck just doesnt know what to do when the lows hit right now. lmao... One thing is for sure, I will need serious battery power to run two of these amps!!!
