Was wanting to know if strapping 2 saz-1200's to the sub wired @ 1 ohm would work out well??If they are strapped you have to use a 2 ohm load. You can't do it with that sub. Only 4 or 1 ohm. January 16, 201411 yr Oh.. Why can't you wire the amps to 1 ohm?Do you have a manual. When you strap them it goes to 2 ohms only.
January 16, 201411 yr I can't wire both amps to 0.5 ohm to get 1 ohm? It's the sub you wire to get the ohms you want. When amps are strapped they are 2 ohms!!!!!!!!!! http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/amplifiers/item/saz-1200d.html Edited January 16, 201411 yr by pmureika
January 16, 201411 yr Author Oh okay, sorry i'm not to familiar with impedance and amplifiers. Especially with strapping... So if i wire the sub to 1 ohm, and strap the amps together. The amps will be at 2 ohm and the sub will be at 1?? Sorry if i'm wrong I'm trying to figure this out

You need a d1 or a d4 sub to get to 2 ohms. That is what the strapped amps will put out. Edited January 16, 201411 yr by pmureika
