May 3, 201411 yr Author Thanks.. i just got the new injectors, leaky fuel press reg. and fuel spider in... FUCK YES. It has never ever ran this good. No service light. And, i gained 4mpg. Ride to, vs ride back. Damn. So, lets add the shit i worked on while i waited for parts... Harnesses and such are comin. Large case SINGER hairpin being built..... ill run my 350 and OEM for a lil bit. Thanks all.
May 7, 201411 yr Author Pulled it back out, and added the rear brackets, and, shot some all thread through. Worked like a charm. SINGER large case 270 hair pin, was ordered and paid for, about an hour ago. I think im ready for a drop in replacement. Pretty stoked. Amps are due in any time.....
May 11, 201411 yr Subs ordered and in... Fully loaded sp4's, .. i asked for extra burnt leads.Asked for dual one..... coils all read 1.4 DCR. Fuck if i know.Doesn't really matter what it reads dcr since impedance is based on frequency over a given usable range.

But, there a beginning ...... Well, this is where ill do my own thing. My buddies LCR meter. "Plotting" where we are any give time/freq.Here we plot 2 of his subs... He did many tests, including, sealed, and door open.There was change.Which, youd expect. Pretty fun, to get it REALLY nailed down. That said, say i have dual 4ohm, or 2 ohm, or 1 ohm... or dont MATTER ohm. Well..... to some, ... meh.....it may. Feel me?Feels like your saying put and match any voice coil with any other coil, cuz it dont really matter cuz it will change if i spit out the window. (which is true.. BUUuuuut) Was fun to see what was going on..... FI and Fh with a trough in the middle shows us our Fb. EDIT- Box was suppose to be built for 36hz tuning. Pretty sweet. Check out the impedance change. I bet those that are wired (what ever you guys wanna say) at, to what the amp will see, at a given freq, Which, i know is what you are all saying. May 18, 201411 yr Author Nabbed one of these, for my 4 individual amps for the subs. I think its cleaner. Also, got my door clips in. Ran 2 more runs for that side, and tried again for the panels to get on, and be secure. The more pricey, OEM style clips, really helped on my end. MUCH much better than the ones i blew my money on at autozone. Hung like a dream. Off we go..... New load. 8 total, so 2 per channel. Pass side, IN AND DONE. Wire is due in tomorrow as well as other shiz....
May 19, 201411 yr Author Its just a clean splitter. Scott Bowman made this one for me. Ill be running 4 sub amps, so, instead of spiltting it 47 times, i chose this route. Clean, simple, and keeps the signal strong even when dividing/spilling.(EDIT- and i prefer not to strap, nor use the pass through.) Hes a great guy. Great dude for this hobby. Anyway, im hopin for more wire today, as well as the harness to get my second alt actually charging.Thanks for checkin it out. Any all comments welcome. Edited May 19, 201411 yr by Kylar96
