Posted May 15, 200619 yr Well I had a chance to get a sub I have long dreamed of buying at a price I couldn't refuse. It still made my bank account cry for mercy but as some of you know I'll do almost anything for audio Without further ado, her is my brand-shiny-new Aura NS15 Here it is with the IdMax.... kinda makes it look dainty Top view.... note different approaches to the same 24-25mm of xmax.Side showing cooling solution. This thing has a 4" voicecoil... and I guess that means it needs a 3.5" pole vent?Last we have the model sticker and one of the binding posts.... interesting design. Now I need to choose; car or HT?!
May 15, 200619 yr not alot of linear displacement capeablitity for such a large motor structure...im gonna have to look into why this sub is good? im not a big fan of Aura
May 15, 200619 yr not alot of linear displacement capeablitity for such a large motor structure...im gonna have to look into why this sub is good? im not a big fan of AuraAura is not concerned about sheer output. You also have to think, this driver was designed many years ago. How many pro-sound drivers do you see with huge motor structures and little linear displacement?? In fact, the motor structure is not large at all, rather they incorporate the design into the entire basket.

May 16, 200619 yr Why everything gotta be about color? I'd never seen it in white, only the black versions...and yes, it's an awesome driver. The 18" version looks like a UFO.And nG...I agree...derka durrrr
