Well, guys this is my first post and I am in the market for a new sub when my cars arrives. In September, I am getting my 2015 Mustang, and I would like to have some opinions. Since I don't know the exact space I will have I do know I will still need to fit golf clubs in the trunk. My goals are to have a very accurate and deep bass. So, I am thinking on the lines of a sealed box. Unless I can design and fabricate a ported box that will be accurate. I am willing to put the money down for a good amp and sub. Any recommendations on setup please tell me. I want to do it right the first time so I don't have to do it again.

As previously stated, we need more information before we can give much on suggestions.  Without knowing what kind of space you'll have to use all we're going to be able to give you are opinions and best guesses.  Without knowing what your budget is there's no way to know if you're looking to only spend for something like an Alpine Type R or if you can get as crazy as a Critical Mass UL12 (about a hundred vs. thousands of $$$).  Those are reasons why the details matter.

Not sure what other audio forums you have experience with, but we're a little different around here, lol.

Since the trunk won't be here, you don't know your space limits. I would wait until it gets here to find that out. Pulling numbers out of my ass here, you could run something like 2 10s, or a single 12 ported to leave some space for your personal belongings. If you want an simple, all in one install, I'd suggest something like the Zed Levithan III. One amp for your subs as well as your mids/highs all in one. You can also start by ordering wire, and all the little knick knacks

I was think stay under 1 g. I have been looking at the Incriminator Flatyne 12 and the JL audio w6v3 12. Which one would yall go for out of those 2 chooses. Just put it in a ported box? In the trunk I will most likely have 3 cubic feet to work with. Also do I need wire over 8 gauge for that sub? I am almost asking what would yall do as veterans.

12 gauge will be fine for either sub, no need for 8 at all

Go with the incriminator sub over the JL w6.  I've had jl subs and they are not all their cracked up to be.  For your amp I would put 0 gauge just to be safe.  4 gauge should do the job though.  From amp to sub yeah like 12 gauge or 16 gauge.  You may be very surprised at the trunk if it is at all like this year 3.0ft^3 will take up most all of that trunk.
