Hello All,

I recently acquired a blown XXX 18" and am going to get it re-coned. I have not talked to their tech yet, but I believe I can do either 1 ohm or 2 ohm DVC. I am running a MD2 (thanks Flakko, I love it) and was wondering what configuration you would choose, .5 ohms or 1 ohm? Thanks for the input.

run at .5 voids warranty. run it at 1 ohm if possible

how are you with warranties? remember, if you run it at .5 ohms, and something blows, its not my fault....

they are over before i need to use em

really how would the manufacturer know if you ran lower than 1ohm? its not like the amp has a black box that tells them how it was run before it blew.

1 ohm ftw... if 2000 watts isn't enough for the sub then it sucks efficency wise and you need to get a sub that will eat that 2000 up and make love to it...
