Posted May 23, 200619 yr http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=14757The girl blew her HWS 6.5's so im looking at new 6.5's. Must be bale to handle ~50wRMS minimum and be fairly efficent and sound good. Loud would be good to because while im swapping them out ill be putting in a 50wx4 amp i had lying around bridged to 100wx2 (turned down for the mids/highs) and the NX4400 is going independant for th assasin's which means 220w each. trunk dances with 55w each, i should gain ~6dB i love that smiley
May 23, 200619 yr Memphis Sync6's...just make sure to EQ out the top end unless you like metal dome harshness. Not as bad as the Quart harshness, but still...
May 23, 200619 yr I just heard a pair of Crystals today. They have a yellow Kevlar cone and outboard crossover and the tweet is mounted on a bridge. They were the best sounding coaxials I've evr heard. I think they were call SSX, or SXS or something. I was thinking about getting some. The guy told me he only paid $120 shipped for them.

May 27, 200619 yr so far in my search for components i have listened to several sets and other than focal polyglass, the type-r was the best sounding to me. they are really warm and natural sounding.
