 Should be to the right if your looking at the alt from the back by the 2 male prong...If not on that model you should be able to run a lead from the stator if all else fails,,,not real familiar with that model

Find the positive charging stud on the alternator and hook wire to it. If there is just a plug in clip like most stock alternators then bypass that step of the big 3.

You can run a lead from the stator with alt just with a plug...You may have to drill a hole in the housing but it's possible 

So if theres the plug in clip i should just skip the whole alternator power wire?

Yes, it wont hurt anything. Just get those ground wires taken care of.
