I been playing around with a couple scraps and for some reason every time I make my cuts 1/16 across I try to bend it and snaps (its starts to bend a little bit before it snaps)...I tryed the 1" in between, 1/2" in between...I really dont know what im doing wrong...I looked at several youtube vids and all

Im using a circular saw...(im trying to do a 90% turn with a piece that 11" x 11"

What's the reasoning behind drilling the holes in the kerf slots?

that is one of my inventions , capillary attraction draws the resin in the slots and the air bubbles come out the holes

I see, very clever.  So do you use polyester or epoxy resin for doing to kerfed bends then?  I've been using polyurethane glue for mine, but I'm not sure whether I really like it for that application or not.

BTW, thanks for posting all the pictures.  You have definitely been an inspiration to me.

I had to remove the interior pannels and the rubber molding around the hatch opening to slide it in .... perfect fit

it's pretty much a wall , the back window is history ........... the wife gave me that look a few minutes ago.....LOL
