with a 90 amp alternator, don't expect big things from the bigger wire.

bigger alternator and a better battery...

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

anyone know what the UltraFlex Orange cable is?

I use the ultraflex orange. It's very flexible and a nice shade of orange(though the copper wire itself is pretty thick and can be somewhat hard to work with). I can't compare it to their other 1/0 gauge wires though as I've had no experience with the other wire

Big 3 is done? Good the alt you need to buy will enjoy it.

I dont care if you ran a telephone pole of copper through your car at this point, it wouldnt fix your issue. Another battery will not fix your issue, and in fact, will harm you. Caps = the same thing. Now, instead of just having this car audio gear you heaped on one of the smallest alts in a vehicle, you threw two other items in there on top of it for it to deal with.

That alt is getting its azz kicked like a white boy in a white sheet in 5th ward after dark.

You alt is too small. You need a larger one. /story

Last minute edit/PS: You need roughly 70 amps of alt per 1000 watts of power you supply to your speakers. A stock alt is aptly named in the sence that it is made JUST to run the items your car came with STOCK. Auto companies are never in the habit of over building anything. Most will say....but i have no light dim...therefore i dont have an issue. I disagree....and at midnight, in a rainstorm, while your driving down the road with your lights, wipers, defrost, engine, and system on.....your alt, that is now hot enough to fry a frikken egg.... does too. Look around you here. 8 out of ten ppl built their system out of order, since they didnt buy the alt FIRST. It is the single most important part of a healthy system.....the rest is just getting by.
