June 20, 200619 yr I wonder what happens if he doesnt put the front windows down...car implodes ?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Engine would just flame out...well, if the backpressure from the engine trying to suck all the cabin air out doesn't shatter the windows first
June 20, 200619 yr Author Just found something out, these jet engines have a small tendency to backfire into the intake air (in his case, the cabin). So if that happens to him, hes got a one way ticket to the pearly gates.
June 20, 200619 yr small tendency lol, a bit more than small but a good engineer will really lower that tendency.
June 20, 200619 yr Author small tendency lol, a bit more than small but a good engineer will really lower that tendency.True, but do you want to take that risk?
June 21, 200619 yr Admin I have learned enough to stay away from anything that as a rocket attached to it.

June 21, 200619 yr Most decidedly not street legal J38 turbojets I think...standard USAF fighter engine for decades.

I've seen it at the local, weekly car show. And that /\ is bad-freakin-ass
June 21, 200619 yr I thought that guy totalled that rig on his last run before he "retired" and let his son take over. I could really have the story butchered, but I remember something like that.

There is no way they would allow a running jet engine on any road. That is bad looking though.
