Isnt gonna be strappable????????????

What the hell.

Any other news about them.

Are they gonna make more power?

Are they gonna run lower ohms?

yup... the reason they are not strappable is because when they are standalone, it puts otu less power than the 05 MD2.

:puzzled::puzzled:

Basically....

The older MD2D's put out more power than the new ones.

But when you strap the new ones thats whern the put out the power

yea. so they are scrapping the strapping deal so the md2's will still put out the same power

that stinks, flakko are there any 05 MD2D's left?

If you really need that much power, and it has to be strapped (you can't accomplish the same result with a pair of MD2's running stand alone), just get a pair of MD3's. . . .They are not that much more $$$ and they will be available soon!

Sounds like a good idea :thanx:

why is that? lol

okay i am talking about a strappable md2...

a standalone strapping-capable md2 will put out less than a non-strappable md2

however 2 strapping capable MD2's strapped together will put out a good 3800+ watts (im just guestimating the number here)

i hope that makes sense

And so for that reason, they decided to not make them strappable, so that the new standalones will still put out as much as the older ones? Is that correct? Basically, I just want to know if the newer ones will be weaker than the older ones or not. :puzzled:

yes the new ones will put out the same as the old ones.

Original non- strappable MD2 will be re-run until end of the year. At which time the MD3/AX3000DE strapping circuit will be used in design.

End of Aug The 25th anniversary, limited edition MD2 and MD3 will be here.

so does that mean you cant get an MD3 until Aug 25?? :ughdunno:
