Posted June 26, 200619 yr and i saw a 12" si magnum for 150 canadian there..but it looked like the dustcap was glued back on....and i know these retail for over 700 canadian new..i wanted to buy it lol even though i didnt have nothing to power it with yet
June 26, 200619 yr Definitely try and get it cheaper ... or at least try and listen to it before buying it.Get it re-coned if need be.
June 26, 200619 yr Author yea it looked pretty good condition..i asked to test it and they are so dumb they hooked it up to those cheap stereo's that do like 50 watts..so they probably damaged it unpowering it by like 900 wats lol..it kept cutting out when u tried to turn it up
June 26, 200619 yr Admin If you get is super cheap, recone it and BLAMO you got your self a super nice sub for much less.
June 27, 200619 yr they probably clipped the crap outa the amp therefore killing the speaker <{POST_SNAPBACK}>At 50W, not likely.
June 29, 200619 yr most likely the load was just too low for whatever they were trying to push it with and it kept cutting out to protect itself.
June 29, 200619 yr Author yea i was thinking about it...but im not getting my car until like 2007 and maybe then they will have newer subs for 2007 that will be better
