Why am I not getting email notifications for followed content?

I have the option to send an email when new content is posted checked but I don't get any.

    Yea the forum has been having some problems. Double post, triple post, kicking people off, wrong names.

    I am working on it with Invision.  No one is getting kicked off or what ever.  Just a few glitches we are working to correct.
