That will be okay for music.

Two 1500s can draw up to 320 amps but you will seldom be calling for that much power on music.

2 amps strapped, with both batteries (for the sake of not typing it over and over... voltage drops from 14.3v, to 12.8 the entire test... lol

4 ohm strapped = 1900 watts @ 82% efficiency

2 ohm strapped = 3150 watts @ 72% efficiency

1 ohm strapped = 3740 watts @ 68% efficiency

.5 ohm strapped = 4425 watts @ 65% efficiency

.35 ohm strapped = 5415 watts @ 62% efficiency

amps would only tolerate a VERY short burp @ .35..

So those test were with single 1000ca everstart maxx, 1 Eagle Picher 12a5000, batteries and a stock 80 amp alt?

That is 1 ohm strapped - or 1/2 ohm per amp.

Efficiency will be roughly the same at lower power levels - although, likely marginally higher in the low 70s.

that Eagle Picher 12a5000 is one helluva battery!

what fuse rating will I used if I'm running strapped 1500s for music? 275a per amp is a lot

The internal fusing is 160-amps per amp, so you can match that for 2 ohm strapped (1 ohm per amp).

at 12 volts.. what voltage are you getting on the output with the speakers disconnected ?? with a 45 hz tone .....

Consolidated high and regular voltage testing threads today.

in the strapped amp test, was that .35 per amp for a nominal load of .70 or .35 nominal, if so that is crazy. .175 ohms per amp, ouch.

It was 0.35 nominal, or 0.175 per amp. I don't recommend doing that :)

Was this .175 per amp after rise say or started at .175

so wait... idk where my last thing went but can we do .5 ohm no problem?

After all of my reading. I knew I had read most of the pile. But then Jacob pointed me this direction. Thanks. The Aveo and the Fit are in the same sub compact class.
