Which do you guys think would push a pair of fully loaded dual 2ohm BL 15s better between the 2amps here; the MM4000.1D(2000rms x 2 @1ohm or 4000rms x 1 @2ohm) or 2-SAZ-1500Ds(Id prefer to run them strapped @0.5ohm)? Electrical system would be able to sufficiently run either or.

Well.... I'm gonna run a orion 2500D to two BL 18"s, another idea 4 ya.

As long as you do "big three"; any should be good, but 4 the $, Sundown probably win as far as quality, or atleast thats what you"ll be told here.

The orion will do .5 ohm easy, and problably push close to 3,000 rms mark doing it. They can be had on ebay for $300+, so I went that route.

check out the ROE vid site; there is a vid, were a 2500D beats that crap out of two BTL 15's.

Dudue from Sundown keeps telling me to get dual 2ohm subs and strap em @2ohm which will only give me around 1500 per sub. I wanted a lil more wattage than that. Im thinking now the Autotek may be my best bet because if would be around the same price as what I would get 2 sundowns for and Id have a whole 1000rms more.

I've had a pair of mm4000.1ds when I was on team maxxsonics. they're loud... but in this case I'd probably take the pair of sundowns I'm sure they're a little underrated, and the autotek is overrated imo, so they'd be a little closer if you judge them like that... as far as only needing the big3 you've probably never ran a system that draws that much, or you're an idiot. or a little of both... I had big 3 0awg plus a blue top under the hood, and a pair of kinetik monster 2400's in the back and with a pair of autoteks I STILL got dimming, even my screens would dimm... so you can conclude a single autotek and 2400hc + half a blue top would still get mad dimming... so - the half bluetop and you'd get even MORE dimming... and the dimming was due to large voltage drops... I fried a genXX colossus from bad voltage drops... and these amps weren't my only decent amps... I fried my orion xtrpro 2400d from the same and sold my hcca 5000d brand new since I didn't want to cook that too LOL... long story short to run big power you'll need more than the big 3 done to your electrical system... and I speak from experience... in fact, at those points, in my car I didn't even have a mids amp, ran them off the deck, so if you have a mids amp, you'll get more dimming. I took it out because I was supposed to sell my car.. the tv's dimming I still had the mids amp in there, but never less than a pair of 2400hc kinetiks in the back plus the one batt under the hood... take that for what it's worth... when I fried the orion and colossus was with just the bluetop and no kinetiks, never fried an amp since getting the monster batts

no, No, NO! I have ran quite a bit of power before and Im certainly not an idiot. Only a idiot would make a reply like u did calling people names and chit and didnt even read the whole thing. If u werent playing with urself u would have read that I was only talking about 320-400 amps of draw. Ur talking about 800amps of draw. Plus Im gonna have 1-HC800 under the hood and 2-HC2400s in the rear with a 220amp Iraggi and several runs of welding cable. So ur the idiot if u though u were going to run 2 Autoteks with a MARINE battery and a pair of Kinetiks because Imma be running that same amount of batteries with half of the amperage draw u had and ur so stupid u still think that Imma have dimming just because u didnt know that U! needed more juice. I've seen the tests on termpro and they seemed pretty sick to me lol glad it was a typo

well i wouldnt strap the amps at .5 for daily because each amp would be at .25...also the mm4000.1 puts out a lot of power if you can get it to see a 3 ohm reactive load...i wouldnt run the 4000 at .5 though

HawaiianCrackHead, I do believe I was the first to mention the Big3 sooooo whtever. Gotslap, the Autotek wouldnt be ran at 0.5ohm. I was saying if I went with the Sundowns that they would be 0.5ohm each (inotherwords 1ohm strapped is what I meant).

The Autotek does its power @ 3 ohms... kinda weird huh? thats 3 ohms actual impdence after rise and everything else. We got around 3800 watts @ 2.8 ohms and 13 volts out of my 4000.1

The Sundowns on the other side do their power at a much lower impedence, and as you know, we got 2.5kw out of each of the amps, but as jim said more like 2kw in a daily situation

So take it for what its worth, both are gonna be close to the same power, but the autotek may do it more effiecently and at a higher load.

The autotek will burp @ .5 but will not play daily @ .5

The pair of sundowns strapped @ .5 is the same story

Now see.......thanks man, that was alot of help SPLBlazer. I appreciate that. Thats the exact kind of info I was looking for. So basically I cant really go wrong with either one. That 3800rms @13v @2.8ohm aint bad at all especially considering its only 13v. Im sure my alt would keep my voltage up around 13.8-14.4v. Juice wouldnt be a problem for either way I go. But with a pair of dual 2ohm BLs(1.5ohm coils) I can series them together to get a 1.5ohm load but with rise Id be right at 2ohm or a lil higher.
