Alright I started on one more box last week and I am ditching it already. Well im going to finish it for my friends sub, and then start over.

I need advice though.

Its a daily driver, but I want it to go as loud as possible.

Will Sound Deadener(Second Skin) make that much of a difference in SPL score?

dampening pad behind the woofer

sound deadening your entire vehicle WELL will help with SPL. check competition rules as to how thick/many layers you are allowed if it is limited before you go slapping a ton of deadening down.

lots of layers of good stuff like second skin or some other butyl based deadener

I was thinking 1 layer of Damplifier Pro....thats pretty thick stuff...
