It not a big deal, but lately when i turn my remote knob for my amp down, it makes the sub pop a few times.. Is this an indication the knob is bad and i should buy a new one?

Hmmm... that isn't normal, so I would not continue to use that one.

I've got a couple spares from an install I am doing without the remotes. Let me know if you want one.
