Im not trying to make this another one of those Vs threads. But i do have some questions concerning extra batteries as the pertain to my application.

I will be running 100.2 and 2 Sundown 1500d's. Would it be more beneficial for me to pick up 2 Deka Intimidator 9A31's or to go ahead and get a Kinetic 2400( or 2000 depending on what i can find).

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,

Brandon

Deka's are popular because they are a great bang for the buck. I am a fan of SVR's and optima's. Kinetik are popular because they are monsters but are not cheap.

I thought about two G31 Optimas but the price tag on them isnt the cheapest.

What are the SVR's......I guess im a battery noob.

What about UPS's?

eh?

Get the most "battery" you can get, for the amount of money you want to spend.

And what would you suggest noah?

Well I have four G31 Optima YT's... and love them. But also b/c I got them for $110 each. Heh.

So, Kinetik's are good... but so expensive.

I guess if I was in your position, I'd pick up some Intimidators.

Heh, well let me know if you can catch another deal like that.....I wouldnt mind paying just a lil extra per batt...If you can get somethin in that range.

Unless you are limited by your organization/ class than I think optima's are great. Personally because I only get one battery, I am going with kinetik

UPS's are uninteruptable power supplies...for computer systems...Thats what kinetiks were designed as.

I have a few yellowtops in my yukon, I'm very pleased. They hold up very well, and even after sitting for days w/out being charged, car off they still hold around 12.8-13v charge.
