Ok guys i have a 100.4 and just got some new mids after old ones got replaced at cdt.....

I want to know the best way to adjust your amps hpf and lpf? in this case my 100.4 hpf for my 3 way components..... i dont no if the vertical point in between both markings like 55 and 500 are exactly the average of the two. but id like to know how to set these filters fairly accurately...

They are more of a logarithm style knob... the difference at first is greater then it becomes less. If you move the knob very slightly from 55 Hz you will be at 70 - 80 Hz. I always adjust by ear and listen to the speakers until I get the best blend of midbass response and low distortion at high output.

is the difference between the 55 - 500 side and 55 - 1000 side pretty significant? when adjusting to around 80hz?
