I was looking at buying this amp ROCKFORD FOSGATE POWER AMPLIFIER T20001BD and I was looking at getting a Fi 15" BL or BTL but didn't know which one to get. And also what features to get with them I have never used Fi or heard of them and I am very intersted in trying them. Or even 2 12" Fi for this amp $500 for subs or sub.

I have 2006 HHR

its a hatchback

looking at going with a ported enclosurer.

Thanks for the help

I'd upgrade the vehicle electrical system

and get a BL with cooling or 2 12" Q's

What's the alternator size on those?

I'd look into beefing up that electrical system. Does that amp have a birthsheet? Overhead can be a good thing, and help you keep the signal clean. If you are comfortable not going all out on your sub all the time get the BL, if you like to crank it a lot, or want to compete(get more amps down the road) I'd get the BTL.

A single BTL or a pair of Qs would work well. Ive seen 2000s with 2800W birthsheets... so they have plenty of power for either setup.
