Ok guys, as you know, this isnt JUST a system install, i am doing lots more stuff beside that.....the last few weekends have been dialing in the Air system on this ride. I replaced all the PAIN in the ass bags (rear was hard as hell) and also the pumps. Pics will tell all.....(oh ya, the spinners are gone...i still havent washed it and took a pic of it laid out but i will tomorrow)

Moved my wire racks to my work area.....freed up some space in the garage

Spinners come off.....revealing a 24" Oasis Gothic, just like mine but no center cap....all one piece.

DSC00394-1.jpg

Some new pumps......i have one of these in the honda and it fills VERY fast and has a 200lb rating as opposed to the 170 on the last pumps.....this thing should fill up EASILY twice as fast, maybe more :D

Time to take out the old ViAir 450's........first i had to move the rear tank out of the way. The smaller pumps wouldnt come out and the new BIGGER ones werent about to go back in if i didnt do that....

DSC00410-1.jpg

DSC00411-1.jpg

Ok we have a slight problem.....time to come up with a solution.

DSC00412-1.jpg

Out with the other 450..

DSC00417.jpg

Pumps first......then when im done i will tap in with the ever reliable Nitrogen bottle.....for those times when he wants to hit a few switches and not have the compressor come on.....sucks when you have to wait on compressors, although i am using the fast pumps now (big reds) its still nice to have the bottle ;)

Well here is my solution to the problem with the pumps being to big for their "rack".....a little steel a drill, and a welder is always a good thing to have layin around.

DSC00423.jpg

DSC00425.jpg

DSC00426.jpg

DSC00428.jpg

These should do.....they are little extensions that give the feet of the compressors something to sit on. A few welds to the original rack and i should be in business...

I had to make this because as you can see the bolts are so close to the edge they will get all sideways if i torque them down.....so these are little "spacers" for lack of a better word. Worked GREAT and they dont have a gangsta lean now :D

also managed to run RCA, Cat5, and Remote wires under the truck and into the front cabin....protected by black tape and a strategic run, shouldnt be a problem....

DSC00384.jpg

DSC00385.jpg

Everything is soldered in this ride, even the small terminals for the remote wires and small positive/negatives from other accesories.

DSC00386-1.jpg

DSC00387-1.jpg

i made a nice hole in the front to bring the wires up thru.....and over to whatever deck i pick out. Thats all for later though..
