Hi I've been calling around to different car audio companies accross the US and all of the stores tell me that mmats amplifiers beat us amp hands down. (compared to merlin series) Is this true? I know the car audio shops have installed both amps and should know, but this is a us amps forum and wanted to hear if there was a difference in opinion. Has anyone here dealt with mmats pro audio amps?

thanks

you are comparing one line of amps to a whole company's line. plus mmats Efficiency rate on there site is 70% . Merlins are in the high 70 to low 80% and are underrated in there output and in there ohm load when in a more stable eletrical system. the only downside i see with us amps is that you have to get to 1 ohm to get any real power out of them. like the md3d is 625 at 4 ohm
