I have an 89 Mercury Tracer, I have 7.7 cubic ft (internal volume) {39 in W, 23 in H, 18 in D} I would like the box to be tuned to about 32 HZ. I will be running about 3500 watts to the sub. any help would be appreciated, I do not know that much about tuning an enclosure.

Someone else refered me to this link. If you know much about math this will help you out and be much more accurate than most online calculators.

I've also used this calculator numerous times to make short work of it, although it can give varied results. Never had a box turn out bad using it, but I have had them turn out tuned slightly off of what I wanted.

how were you planning on configuring the sub/port (i.e: putting the sub up port back, sub up port up, etc..).

Box is right at the minimum size you need.

You could build a slot port on one side. 21.5" x 4" x 25". It would extend into the box to 4" from the back wall and then extend 7" further along the back wall. Net is 6 ft tuned to 33 hz.

Add a couple of bracing strips on each side of the woofer mounting hole.
