  8. So in the pic it is really a complete shadow. I ended up pulling out my fuses, picked up some new ones, put them in, hooked the amp back up and shes running perfect .
  9. Ok guys i'm wondering what could be causing my problem with my amplifier. First of all I'm running an saz-1500d with a fi btl d2 ohm at 1 ohm. Electrical wise is an optima up front, stock wet cell in back, everything done in 1/0 ga including big 3. I've had this installed for at least three months now with not a single issue with the amp. And It was working perfectly fine earlier on my way to work. Then going home from work I had it on for about 5 minutes, cop was coming so I shut the amp off thru the headunit(pioneer), cop passed turned it back on played for about 3 minutes then the amp just shut off. It won't turn on whatsoever. I checked my amp at home with the car running and the car off and it doesn't have the protect or power light on. I tried unplugging and plugging the rca's to no avail. I quadruple checked all of my grounds and power connections up front and at the amp, and nothing is loose or shorted. I'm positive low voltage wasn't an issue because I've had no dimming whatsoever at full tilt. So this leads me to believe that I could possibly have a loose remote turn on connection up front. But thats the only thing I could think of, and I don't have a dmm to check my voltage at my grounds but like i said I don't believe it was low voltage. Thanks any suggestions are appreciated. -Nick
  10. No one mentioned the ssd yet. I'll chime in on it, my buddy had 15 ssd running at around 700 watts in a 4.x cb ft box. It was a great sub for the price. It's really an entry level sub that will get the job done in a proper install. And fully loaded can take almost double the rms daily (clean power) if you ever wanna increase your power... Good luck

    Noon question

The fuse has been out since this morning. Took pliers to actually get it removed. When it was removed it(metal piece) cracked so I believe i cracked it when i removed it. I'm not sure whether it was blown or not. Guess we'll see when i get a new fuse in their.
  12. Noticed one of my 40 amp fuses on my 1500d is fuzzy looking on the left inside part of it. I'm not trying to damage anything, so I'm wondering what's the proper way to remove a fuse without causing anything else to break? Thanks, Nick

    Noon question

Yea but would it work for 3 months properly then just blow randomly?

    Noon question

I'm just wondering if I could blow a fuse on my amp by turning it on and off through my headunit. I myself have never heard of this to cause a fuse to blow on an amp before.

    Noon question

I removed it from my car completely. I ended up need pliers to remove the fuse, when it did come out the silver part of it was cracked so I think I did something wrong. But I'm not 100% sure if it was blown in the first place. I have a question though, could I actually blow a fuse by turning my amp on and off through my headunits setting? Because there is no other reason I can think of as to why one fuse would blow in the first place (being properly installed)....
  16. Looking to get a 40 amp fuse for my sundown 1500d. Looking online I can't tell wether I need and ATC fuse or a MAXI fuse, just wanna make sure I get the right one. Thanks, Nick

    Noon question

K I'll do that, hope your talking bout the power wire input itself on the amp....

    Noon question

Basically the other three look different then this one. Which leads me to believe this is the issue causing my amp to not turn on when properly installed

    Noon question

Lol on my dumb iPhone, meant noob, ended up posting and couldn't edit. But like the left part of it isn't clear hen I shine a light through it, it's like blurry/fuzzy white/silver colored. What do u mean remove power form?
  20. Trust me I triple checked them. Guess I gotta contact Jacob about this.
  21. If your talking about in the fifth pic, the bottoms red piece In the amp, does look in the pictures like it's brown, but it's the piece itself. If it's not that part, what piece of the amp are you talking about(like the general area)?
