Hate Goodyear. My Pirellis didn't last worth a damn. Like the Toyo Proxes. Kuhmo's not bad for the price. My Nittos were AWESOME! Love the Potenzas!

questions for 12" or 15" with 1000-1500wrms
Tirefryr replied to Sturchionix's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Cap will be useless. As for an extra battery, remember that little alt will be working extra hard to carry the added load and try charging another battery. I woudl get the best amp within your budget and then see how it works. If an upgrade in the electrical department is necessary, then do that. You just never no though. Your stock system may handle it fine. -
How's it sound?

Never had a Personal problem with them and always had good luck with their stuff. However, Ben has always seemed somewhat shady to me, and after hearing things from several "insiders," I choose not to deal with them atall. No bad words outta my mouth, but GEEZ. Straighten up eD. Hate to see competition go away.

That's sweet. What happens when he comes up with a new one though.

MY old job was right behind the airport and the president came to town one day. The plane the FBI and SS brings all their stuff in is ENORMOUS!!! DC30 or something I believ it is. And it's really nuts when you see personnel walking around for a couple square miles with assault rifles. Glad I didn't throw any rocks in their direction.

Go with the 12 and vent it in between 2.5 and 3 and you should be good. -
WE understand. We've all been in the predicament before I'm sure. I have been without bass for 1.5 years now. You have little to worry about. Once you get your driver and install it, you will forget any delay ever occurred. Patience Grasshopper.

MAgnet size/weight is irrelevant. The motor structure and backet are a thing of beauty however and NEED to be shown off. I just wish you would be able to see the cone on mine.

I was going to ask about that. I noticed that on my 225, yet all the ones I see as of late say DR.. What's the deal? -

Now that is beautiful! Nice woodwork! And that 2100 is making me cry! -
Don't worry, you won't have any problems getting loud no matter which you go with. And it will sound great to boot!

Yes, it is the home insulation, but of the fiberglass type like Owens/Corning. You know, the stuff with the Pink Panther in the commercial. Or it may come in a yellow glass as well. It is not foil backed nor does it have foil on it. I believe Nick states the displacement at .07 or .10 cubes.

Don't forget the amount of power Lloyd was running as well. With the increased efficiency of the 15 I'm am sure it would easily outdo the 12" vented. Enclsoure size, vent area, tuning, and vehicle/enclosure placement are all going to play a role as well. Take the 12, put it in a smaller enclosure tuned lower like most people will and the 15 should surpass it in ouput. IT's all relative.

and much more depends on the front stage than the sub. Sub? What is that?

Stupid SD. Everytime I click it, I get the error page. -
It's all dependant on the listener.

Or check out Termpro.com I have seen several threads about Treo there.

Don't forget to mention that when searching for alternators, you want to pay attention to the "hot" rating if there is one. If it's a good alt, there will be a "hot" rating.
