Good point. We see a lot of them down here. We also see some really dumb mods too. The biggest offenders are the lifted 'off road' pickups with the deep dish 26" rims and rubber band cheap Kelly tires. The closest the ever get to 'off roading' is having to part in the dirt parking lot at the state fair.

Oh, you are not alone.  That has been a fad up here for a couple years.  Idiots.

    Sean's Escalade grips like crazy.

I'm guessing he will say suspension also, something about wide contact patches being the main focus for tires and probably close with something about you can't have off road and on road grip at the same time. Unless you want to throw a bunch of. $$$

If so, let's go shopping!  I bet super dope air bags would get you so fucking close you wouldnt care.

If he doesn't say that, I do. But I dont know anything about making trucks go faston pavement. at all. It's so different than cars to me.  I'm both in awe and find it absurd when a truck handles concrete well.

Sean's also got the weight more evenly distributed in comparison to a pickup as well as a nifty computer controlled AWD system.

What tires can you put on a truck to get some traction!?!

Getting tired of spinning the tires at the blip of a throttle and turning. Planning on finding some descent street tires and putting a tru-trac in the new truck when my dad's house sells and funds are more stable.

It's more than tires.  You have antiquated suspension technology that's not conducive to anything other than moving weight in a straight line.  Emphasis on weight.  There isn't exactly a performance tire market for trucks either.   You're stuck with a tire designed to handle a lot of weight, last long, and ride relatively comfortably and noise free.  None of that screams traction above all else.

  4. SO the steel you're thinking about cutting is the actual seat back?

If it were me, I would build a wall straight down from the back of the deck.  That gives you your front/rear separation and allows it to vent through the rear deck when the seat is up.

I would be simple enough to fab up a baffle and seal it with some hot glue and clay to get an idea.  If you like it, then work to make it permanent.

  5. I've done several different IB setups.  That metal is part of the structure of your car, as is the rear deck.  I would not touch any of that unless you are certain you can add that structure back in.  That being said, that panel is actually a blessing.  IT's more than likely giving you an ideal seal between the trunk and the cabin.  If you have a  rear deck, you can use this to your advantage by building a manifold, or baffle and letting the air from one side of the drivers filter through here, while the other side of the wave just meanders it's way 180 out.

Do amy of you know of a discount code or have a plug on the gun product?

I'm thinking about the G3pro as an accessory to the gentle myofascial work, and probably acupuncture soon.

    If you're looking for require specs for alternatives;

Minimum 1 hour run time. The 2 batteries is a huge plus.

On the quieter end of the world. Now DIY. Wife put that down and I'm ok with that.

Handle must either be so ergonomic that I can easily hit everything no proble.  The g3pro has an articulating head and I think that would be useful.

    ~60 stall force.

I dont care so much about speed and I dont know if I care about xmax :D. The theragun brags that its 16mm. But do I give a fuck?  Unknown.

Best I can figure out is to have a vertan friend buy one maybe, or see if I can get a doc to Rx one.

    What?

  7. I just ordered some wall-mount Maggies.  MMGW is the model.  They're dirt cheap at $360 shipped per pair.  If you've never heard any, I would suggest them.  You'll need a sub though and to close up that open part by the stairs.  They're Maggies though, so completely worth it.
