I'm also hoping to get at least 20 mpgs in the city. The Mustang has been my most economical vehicle lately and that thing got 16 in the city when it felt like it.

Yeah, it's easier for him to pull himself up into something. That way, he's not putting weight on his legs, and his hips and groin are where the problems are at right now. I am literally looking at everything, minus Korea Motors. Naturally Lexus is my first choice. My best friend is a Lexus tech, so that really helps. This is just an odd experience for me. I've never paid any attention to SUVs. I know enough just being a car guy, but I am in awe of the number of them right now. Just holy shit!

Gavin had another bad flare up this morning. Woke up in extreme pain, unable to move his leg. Took us 2 hours to move 15 feet into the bathroom. It subsided a bit later on this evening, but I am afraid he will be the same in the morning. He was prescribed some prednisone until we go back down to Indy for a full body MRI. This got me thinking about a car purchase. I was going to buy another Mark VIII tomorrow. The thing is super minty and just a gorgeous car. Anyways, it's kinda low for someone with arthritis, so I got to thinking perhaps I should get a small-ish SUV. I abhor them really, but I need something that's easy to slide in and out of, comfortable enough that he can sit sideways to prop his legs up for the 6 hour journey's there and back, and if this keeps going I think I may need space for a walker and/or wheelchair. I've spent three hours researching small SUVs, and OMG, what a fucking mess of shit there is on the market these days. This is going to prove to be my worst experience yet in vehicle shopping I'm certain.

About 15-20 years ago, I was building door panels this way. Not for myself, but I had many people that wanted a number of 6x9s or 6.5s in the door just blaring right in their ears. It was horrible, but made me some cash.

I do that as well.

Stationary, I prefer Grizzly. Portable, I've only used Porter cable and Bosch. I LOVE Bosch power tools.

You, sir, need to look in the mirror. You joined a forum just to air a grievance you have with another human being. This is not Facebook and we are not in high school. This does not stand around here. If you want to be childish, do it on another platform. Thanks.

I have small hands and a small frame so I am good there. My current carry is a P938 so I doubt I'll have a problem with it. I just miss shooting my PX4 Storm .40. I like the Sig, but there's something about the Beretta that I just love. It's like I can literally feel the smooth action. I've never had another pistol like it. The Sig feels a little notchy to me in it's action. The trigger seems a little light also.

I listed my Mustang up on Facebook last night and it sold in 2 hours. Dude came over and just handed me a wad of cash. He didn't care to look at it or test drive it even. IT was so odd.
I am starting to think maybe I have been devaluing my stuff. I posted it for $3500 and I had a line of 20 people within 10 minutes. It was nuts. Nobody tried to haggle with me either.

It's a pistol. Not talking about the car.

Have you handled or shot one? I'm specifically interested in the micro compact.

I'm REALLY interested in that new Hellcat. I just need some input.

I don't even know how to react about any of this. I'm furious these guys did not get arrested. I'm furious these people are tearing shit apart. On the other hand, revolution is often the only way change occurs and unfortunately that ultimately means violence

Monoprice has some awesome cables for little money.

There is a TON of marketing hype for RCA cables. Just buy a quality constructed cable and you'll be fine.

Tornado number 4 tonight. Got super lucky. I watched it develop right over my house. It moved north down the street before it touched down. Made it's way East and fucked up a couple buildings and a substation. I'll be without power for a few days I'm guessing.

I was in this same conundrum not too long ago. The general consensus I was getting from others was subs up, vents firing to the side. I am going sealed, so I will have no personal experience, but that is the advice I received from many.
I've had a handful of single cab trucks and for those I've always done a pair of 10s or 12s in the middle as low as possible. OF course, those have all been sealed as well.

Welcome to the forums! You are on the wrong track however. Subwoofers are not designed to produce higher frequencies. The bands you are looking for are actually midbass frequencies. These are best produced by the midwoofers in your doors. I'm afraid you could trade subs until the world's end and not be satisfied.

I LOVE that truck! My neighbor had a Free Wheeling edition Bronco like this below. I've always loved these trucks. MY father has an 81 Ranger, and I have had several OBS, and now I have an 04, but I just keep looking for the perfect '78-'79 truck for me.

I want to see pics of this truck SO bad!

You basically have two routes. First would be to just contact a buildhouse and have whatever you want OEM'd for you. Second would be to learn about acoustics first and foremost. Get educated, get connected, and your world will blossom.

That's good to hear.

4 Runner is Tacoma based. I do not want a full-frame vehicle. I want unibody construction. This has to ride like a car. As of now, I am down to the Edge Sport or MKX if I can find one under $30K, RX350, Highlander, or MDX.
