I was gonna do that, didnt like any of them. So i went with lifting my rear seat 3 inches on some c-channel and bought an icon. Not sure if thats an option with the ford or not. Mines a silverado. -

Ever been? I was just there a few months ago, it was beautiful. I you do any excursions, there was one that brought you out to a place called sting ray bay and then the reef to snorkel, it was pretty fun. -

i was looking into doing this at a time, but i didnt have near the room you do, i was trying to keep the stock look of the console and have it function as a seat still. but i did find some useful threads over at fiberglassforums and diyma. (im not sure of linking rules here otherwise id search and find them again) Im very interested in what you get done here!

Cant edit on mobile. Too much coffee not enough sleep. I did my research, just didnt register when i read the stable output over the range. The point is still necessary that more research is Needed. -

Your only going to be able to wire those subs to 4ohms. Your amp isnt stable to 1 ohm. So at this point youll only be driving them with 250w each. Which is OK. Your a bit vague on your wiring question. But for power and ground you should use 4awg. 12 awg will be fine for the speaker wires, 10 if you want. As for the headunit, well you need to research what kind of features you want. For the subs, you want a sub output. Not to be mean, but you really should research alot more before even attempting this. Learn how the audio system and all its components work and work together. -
