Singer Alt Doesn't Fit
afearlesshunter posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Alrighty, 2001 honda civic sedan ES1. Singer 320 Amp alternator. Came with a black bracket for the bottom and a spacer for the top. Was suggested to get a smaller belt by other people but it won't even go on with the factory size belt. Bottom brackets do not line up at all. Don't really know what to do. Pics Alt with black bottom mounting bracket Alt mounted on top with belt on. Where the black bracket provided does not come close to fitting with the factory adjustable bracket. -
Ok, so I've never put a build log on here so please bear with me if I mess this up. This started as me wanting to get louder and ended up like nothing I could have imagined. Its a 2006 Chevy Silverado EXT cab 71 pickup with the 5.3L. Equipment installed is: 2 Singer 350A Alternators (stock running as master) MLA Module American Bass 1100.1 5 C&D Batts 1 XS Power up front 2 sets Boston Pro 60SE Components (Running as coaxial) Boston 2 channel 6 SSA Zcon 15s (4th order enclosure) Some tire/suspension mods to hide the almost 2000lbs of equipment. First the walkaround now into the build pics: (I didnt take very many) ^^^^Crossovers in place of factory bose amp ^^^^Light Test of Million color LEDs ^^^More Color Test ^^Starting to work on the back ^^^Ready for fuses ^^Underhood complete ^^^ Port into cab done.. It needs tuned yet but it hit 154.2 sealed on the TL at 46hz (too high for my blood, gonna put in a loading wall and drop it down. Shooting for 35-40hz peak) More to come!!

Here is my 2000 camaro SS i bought a few weeks ago. not wasting any time making it better! Car has a ton of bolt on performance goodies as well as suspension goodies. T-tops 6-speed. Im sure gearheads worldwide are going to hate me for this but **** em! Its my car and i bought it to do exactly this. Im not going to lead on too much about all the equipment im using for this build. All im really going to say is the ZCONS are on the way!!!! Its going to be hell fitting 18+cubes, batteries, and amps but im up to the challenge. Here is a few teaser shots untill real progress is made. My buddie Chris helping me out before the last USAC show. getting it all cleaned out!! On with the box build. Im shooting for 18 cubes. Thats all i got for today. hope to make more progress this weekend
