    2k budget

So we can't determine the potential of a setup based on equipment? Well, i'll be damned!
  5. eggyhustles

    NEW 10s

2 cubes is more than enough for 1 ported 10.

    2k budget

so we have 2 xcons with 2000 watts on tap, but an inefficient pair of comps playing 99% of the frequency range...and you call that "good"?

    Gotta love it !!!

Quickest way to get your shit stolen. Living in NY, i'm very paranoid when it comes to that. Don't even have the sub on 90% of the time.

    Noise Pollution ticket

I recently got a ticket for playing loud on a damn freeway a freeway! I'm very respectful of my surroundings and didn't think I deserved that ticket. funniest part of it? Wasn't even playing rap. Was listening to Sade with the subs off.
  14. Planning a build in a 2012 hyundai sonata with the infinity premium system while retaining the stock unit Here's what we have so far Hybrid audio clarus jl hd 600/4 + 750/1 2 jbl gto 12's(IB) No processing as of yet since the head unit schematic is very tricky. Now, from the information I've gathered The stock head unit has a digital out(spdif) that goes to the factory amp. Usually, you'd go straight from head unit to processor, but, if you bypass the factory jbl amp, you lose bluetooth, xm, & am/fm radio. I'm about 90% sure the speakers crossed inside the amp, so I'm lost on what to do here. Tapping after the amp seems like the only option, but I can't seem to find out if the signal is full range or not. What can I do? Do I just install a processor and hope for the best? Here's the schematic
  15. Forgot these existed Didn't know about this. If worse comes to worse, Get a cleansweep?
  16. i was thinking about that, but how would i charge the unit, get a signal to a mini dsp, and use the hdd at the same time?

    what fi sub for me.

why are you so dead set on a IB... perhaps explaining why you say IB would help. Prefer them over sealed for sq applications. Seems like space is a concern(sealed box), so why not go IB?
  19. eggyhustles

    what fi sub for me.

Yup. Like i said, why not go IB?
  20. eggyhustles

    what fi sub for me.

Man come on, how you gonna recommend a nice SQ based sub to pair with an amp like that? Are you assuming they'd be wired down to 1 ohm?
  21. eggyhustles

    what fi sub for me.

I'd go with the ib3 If you can IB
  22. Got my 2 tablets in the mail Back to my OG question regarding storage. If you have a solid mobile hotspot connection, you can stream your entire library(up to 20k songs) directly from google music. You could tether off a phone, but a dedicated connection would probably be best
