I feel for ya, but it's not an undertaking I would want to do. I just don't think it's worth the effort. Seems your best option would be to find another spot for the woofer(s). Personally, I would attemp and IB or custom enclosure door install with some 8s or 10s before trying to create a seal on the hatch area. A wall is a different story though if you're thinking anything in this route.X2 -- Put a pair of 10's in your doors. Woot!

A larger driver offering more displacement will definitely have the potential to be louder, so the 10's should be able to beat out the 8's in most applications. Throwing a pair of 8's in ported boxes though will get mighty loud for the in-car environment. Unless you're half deaf (or soon want to be), or the drivers are located in a well-sealed trunk for example, you shouldn't need anymore bass than the 8's can provide, for a well balanced and fairly loud system.so why'd ya invent the rl-s mikey?
Because of that subjective word "need"
If you can get the 10's...or a single 12 muhahaha

Gonna go and sit in the hot tub at the H. Inn here for a few. Have two hours before I need to be anywhere. Yee-paw!

Wow, lots of catch up. I get on a plane, end up in Orange county and there are like 10 pages to read and Aaron bought a house.
Congratulations Aaron, best move you can make. Hopefully I will have the same news next week!
--I know Big Wang's alias too.

I've got one already, but think a better one would help. There is some nasty azz power where I live

Obviously I have no life, or I got excited with your post Frosty.
Switch 0.62
IEC Entry 7.98
Line Filter 11.49
Lugs 0.13
Outlets -- up to you::HD has some for a $1
Chassis -- $90
Looks to me like you could build a redneck one for the price of the line filter though. In other words, I ain't payin no $90 for an aluminum enclosure or $8 for a plug to take a standard cpu power cable.

http://www.hagtech.com/pdf/conditioner.pdfSomething like that...if it works, I'm thinking about building one for the living room system.
Wow that looks easy, have you priced it out??

Back to the Omni topic though, I have always wanted an '88 Ford SHOgun. I have a supercharger kit for one in my garage too. Would put me in the 400hp range in a Festiva. Too bad I can't find one.

Her friend has a shaved head ...obviously she's messing with you in front of her friend. Do you know nothing about women? She wants to show how much strength she has in the relationship. If it was me i'd start hitting on her friend when she came over. Because...seems like your girl really likes pucking with you, do it back. Don't do it while she seems it of course, but that should fudge with her.Well you know your girl has to act like a beyotch in front of her lesbo-nazi woman power friends. Even though that whole back and forth was over the top. Sounds menstrual. How was she the next time you were alone?

I just wanted to say thank you for putting out such an amazing little product. I just purchased an April 2k5 built SoundSplinter RL-i 8" subwoofer off of eBay after ripping a hole in the surround of my old fart JL 8w6. Needless to say, I'm definitely a SoundSplinter convert now. The quality of the product, the performance of the product, and the value of the product blow away anything I've ever experience in the 8" sub arena.Thank you again for such a wonderful line of products. Chances are, I'll be purchasing a couple revised RL-i 8" subs directly from you once they come out. It's about time to add some much needed quality to my home theater setup.
WOOT!

May have picked myself up another Neon....97 DOHC 5spd Sport Coupe, 2 door, black, barely any rock chips, never saw one dent, new tranny, new 02, safetied a year ago, new balljoints, tires, interior looks like it came off the damn showroom, small crack in the windshield, runs great, immaculate condition, about 241,000km (~150,000 miles) which is a little high, but I don't care, since I will rebuild it with my forged internals anyways.
Market value around here is ~$5500-6000 CDN. Price I negotiated... $3275.
Seriously, a deal and a half, and wow, was it ever clean looking.
Will know if it is mine tomorrow
Gotta like the deal. How quick does it become when you build it up? Staying naturally aspirated?

werd...http://cgi.ebay.com/6FQ7-6CG7-NOS-tube-tub...1QQcmdZViewItem
been looking for a matched pair of deez...now I just need to find a set of 12AU7's, but those are easier to find. Damn 6 volt 9pin tubes. Well, at least they're half price of NOS octal tubes that do the same thing.
Sweet. Gotta love the trusting Minnesotan to put his phone number right up on the auction too.

Aargh. Now this is the sh1ts. I finally get my stereo installed in my car and it snows and makes the roads icy. The next day I buy a snowmobile. Then the snow melts, but the ice stays. Without winter shoes my nearly bald zummer radials can't hang. I can't drive my car or my sled right now. I am frustrated!

Instead maybe I'll mix a drink
