  1. Makes more sense, I don't know the new Ford trannies very well. Used to have a modded out 68 Galaxy XL though, also had 3 SHO's, 2 Mark VIII's--last automatic I will ever own might still have the car if it had a manual

  2. Just finished sanding down the edges on some polished granite tiles for a little end table I am building to match the TV/AV stand. Seems if I am not huffing resin fumes, it is granite sand, sawdust, or somethin' caustic. Might as well start smoking again as I am wackin' my lungs up...

  3. Thanks for all the replies, but @#$(*&@$#(&()&&(!*&(*&%@(*&!@(#*%&)^%(*&(*#&()*!#&)(*!&)(!$(*@)#&%)(*@#&%()*@#&%)(*@#&%)(*%#&)(@*#&%)(@*#&(*%&@!(%&!@_)%&!)(%&@)_%*&@)%(*&_!@*%&_*&%*@$

    Aaargh!

F'in vinyl. Too small of contours to make it follow without seams. These beyotches are going to get sanded and painted like the rest of my car. I know I can do that. Gonna leave the vinyl work for when I have a flatter surface..

  4. Morning morning crew. Have a nice day, I have one class then gym :)

    Goodluck with your vinyl ///M5.

Thanks, I've got CA glue all over my hands. Really got frustrated on the first pass through, but I think a night of resting and dreaming about the finished product might have helped. If it works, they will be done today. If it doesn't I will just sand and paint them, they are pretty damn smooth now anyway and shouldn't take long to "sand off the glue" I just would rather do the vinyl thing as it matches the leather interior and I don't like shiny things up near my dash, nor do I want to paint it flat so it doesn't match anything. Plus outside looking in attention I would like to avoid too.

  5. Is the fill just for your passengers? I only ask because I am running mine off the HU to the stock coax's. I have it faded 100% forward unless someone is riding with me, even then I detached the tweeter on the coax's as the highs coming from the back bother me. Your truck is obviously a different beast than my car though. With an underated 50x4 you are going to move those rears pretty good, but if it is just for passengers get a line converter plug in and away you go. The other option would be do sort of do what I did and just run the mids back there, as long as your tweets are crossed over reasonably just adding mid-fill in the rear will still shock a lot of your passengers and probably give you the presence you need as well. That would be pretty easy to try.

What drivers are you running up front and where abouts do you cross them?
