  1. Did you know LP has an octane raiting of 112-114?  Burns cleaner than Gasoline, ethanol, and natural gas, will boost fuel economy by 3-6mpg when tuned properly, and is cheap!

Umm, ya. Super easy to carry around to. I like to drive with a live bomb in my trunk. It make me feel at home visiting my family in Iraq.

  2. I wish they did it to like an M Coupe, something small, light, and overpowered. Combine the ultimate drive with the ultimate sound.

Other than that, I really like the focus of the "single" person vehicle. After all it is yours, so it should be for you. Defying the laws of utility to obtain an ultimate is perfectly logical and should happen a lot more often. Sort of funny that they did it to a utility vehicle again though.

Also, I love the fact that they modified the whole car pretty much completely to personalize it. In an age where car manufacturers won't really want to even start thinking about designing a car if they can't plan to churn out more than 100,000 is a big business I love see happening. Sort of like those chopper shows. You may not like the shows, you may not like motorcycles, you may hate Harley's and how they sound but you will still probably enjoy watching what they do to things with their hands to customize them. That is a personal vehicle as this was meant to be.

When you have the means to I think you surely should go over the top on whatever you love. It just makes sense. You can't buy happiness, but you have to try....should be happy anyway. As well as there is only one you, if it floats your boat what the h3ll? Express yourself!

Oh, and ya I'd drive the car.

  3. That sounds sweet. I imagine we are miles apart tho.

What sort of fan is in the QSC? I just put a couple 120mm Nexus fans in my CPU and now can only hear my "ultra quiet" Zalman coolers humming along. Even if you had to run a RS 12vdc converter to power a couple if they were at all normal sizes I could probably save you time locating some really quiet ones. I am sure your going to love the Rl-p's.

  4. Welcome. I love S. America! Spent my honeymoon in Chile.

Oh, and don't worry your English is probably better than a lot of Americans (especially ones on other websites, ehem)

  5. I ran 9psi daily on a "doctored" SHO taurus and it was a friggin' blast.

How long did the tranny last?

That Neon is going to be nuts! I hope you're keeping it for life though. Resale is already crap on them, and I really hate to see people lose money. BUT, it's all worth it in the name of increased performance. In this case, quite an increase. :fing34:

The tranny was rebuilt at 100k when the motor was put in fresh, it lasted another 100k with the build even though it wasn't too happy when the motor seized, the bummer was the 15-20k on the clutches and tearing through CV Joints (man do they suck to replace too!). It shook the car to pieces eventually too, I suppose from having a locker on a front drive. Fun though. Would LOVE to ride in the Neon when it is done!!

  6. Well for the headunit I have a radio from a S2000 so it is a new headunit, but I probably still will end up getting a new or used headunit soon.  Yea I want my trunkspace too, cause i got kids so if needed, would have to put a stoller in the trunk.

You can probably ebay that S2000 HU for about what it would cost to get something better (if not more)

  7. You really only listed two choices: the Lexus and 4 runner, but they are both rice fed.  The other options are extremely boring cars, basically a reliable Taurus and would be hard to look out at it on the driveway and feel that warm and fuzzy pride you get from looking at a real piece of engineering work  Obviously, I am biased but for a bit more fun, nicer fit and finish, more power, and reasonable insurance for the same dollar look at the 97&up 3 or 5 series BMW's.  If you need utility and want it to be "sporty" you could get the touring wagon--don't laugh I wouldn't drive any other wagon (besides a Magnum) either.

Sure I can and have looked at several BMW and Mercedes. Mantainience is killer on them. Atleast in the dallas area. I am plainning on getting atleast 200k out of this next car. They look good but I dont trust them to get that. The 4-runner, accord, camery, lexus, and maxima are more reliable. Honestly, Im 23 and dont care as much as I use to about looks. I just want a nice car that can fit my budget and lifestyle. The cars I listed do.

Oh, and I did test drive an M3....nice and fast but insurance would kil me.

Screw looks, I am talking about driving enjoyment. A 3 series BMW'er (straight six) is cheaper to fix and will hit 200k just as easy as anything you listed. I am planning on getting to somewhere between 250-300k on my M5 (1991 vintage! hell ya got to love the classics). My car is insured as the same class as a Taurus and isn't even considered a performance car. No dumb timing belts, no ridiculous V6 imbalances, no extra ridiculous electronics (read Nissan), and super easy to work on. As for parts the 6 cylinder BMW's have parts that are almost as cheap as any other car check it out at (alloembmwparts.com) . Plus they do a lot to help with the dampening ahead of time, just makes it tricky to port the bass into the passenger compartment though.

Basically if it has six cylinders it should be an inline: I6=V8 >>>V6 especially for high miles. For an engine that you are going to drive that far, intrinsically balanced internals really help!
